Imago Mundi reaches Liberia and Sierra Leone during the fully blown Ebola emergency (July, August and September 2014), with a collection that brings together the forceful appeals of the artists: peace, security, coexistence, and economic, social and cultural development. Small masterpieces of creativity that reflect difficulties and harsh daily battles, where even finding brushes and paints proves virtually impossible. There is also faith in redemption, courage and hope, brightened by the light of art.

Liberia and Sierra Leone: The Everyday Struggle is an Imago Mundi collection, a cultural, democratic, global, non-profit project, promoted by Luciano Benetton with the aim of creating the widest possible mapping of the different contemporary artistic experiences of our world. In Imago Mundi, each country is represented by the works of established artists and new talents, commissioned with the maximum freedom of expression, whose only constraint is the 10x12cm format.
